Jackson Saenz is a Software Application Developer I for the Autonomy Research Institute (ARI) at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. The Software Application Developer I contributes to the development and maintenance of the software applications for Unmanned Aircraft Systems.

As a Software Application Developer I, Jackson will support and work under the mentorship of senior developers to perform programming tasks, debug applications, and help ensure the security and reliability of mission-critical systems. His responsibilities include collaborating with technical teams to gather requirements, writing and testing code, and assisting in day-to-day system operations aligned with ARI’s UAS initiatives.

Prior to this role, Jackson Saenz worked as Plumber at Smart Plumbing, inc. while attending Del Mar College. During this time, he balanced hands-on trade work with his academic pursuits. Jackson Saenz holds a Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Dallas. In Jackson’s free time, he likes to fish with friends or spend time with his family.
