All students, regardless of program, must first begin the application process with the TAMU-CC Study Abroad Office. The program must be one of the TAMU-CC study abroad programs listed on our website.
To begin the application process, complete the Intent to Apply Form in order to be added to the Study Abroad Canvas Course, where you will submit all required application documents.
Affiliate Programs are partnerships between TAMU-CC and other U.S. University Study Abroad Programs, such as those at other A&M system schools. This allows TAMU-CC students to participate in specific study abroad programs, usually led by faculty at the affiliate university. The application process and deadlines will vary from that of TAMU-CC's Study Abroad Office and may require students to enroll as transient students at the affiliate university.
- TAMU College Station - Mays International Business School
- TAMU-CC College of Business students are eligible to apply to Mays CIBS Winter Programs, May and Spring Break Programs, and Summer Programs. Mays CIBS can accommodate students through support by CIBS staff, scholarships, and often offering virtual pre- and post- trip required meetings for courses.
- Students will need to apply as transient students and the credits will need to transfer back. We suggest that students get pre-approval of courses with their academic advisor, especially if the courses need to count for major electives as opposed to business elective/upper level business electives.
- Longer duration programs (semester exchange) are not open to TAMUCC students due to the limitation on the number of hours that can be earned as a transient student.
- University of Wisconsin - River Falls; Experience Scotland
- TAMU-CC students (and students from partnered U.S. Universities) are eligible to apply to the Experience Scotland study abroad program offered by the University of Wisconsin - River Falls.
- Courses are taught by faculty from the participating universities, as well as Scottish faculty. All courses are designed to take advantage of the Scottish setting.
- The program allows time for independent travel with a 10-day break and several long weekends. Many cultural activities are included in each program.
