Dropping/Withdrawing

Drops or withdrawals are student initiated through the following procedures only; not attending class does not initiate a drop, withdrawal, or refund, and may result in failing grades.

How to Drop/Withdraw

Instructions and important dates listed below

A student is "dropping" a course or courses if he or she remains enrolled in a minimum of one (1) semester credit hour after all course drops have been completed. If dropping all courses, see the section on Withdrawal from the University below.

How to Drop:

Complete Registration Add/Drop Form and attach a copy of your photo ID

If dropping before the beginning of the semester, drop courses online via SAIL

Last day to drop a course deadlines
Fall Full Term	November 7, 2025
Fall 1 Online Mini-Term & 1st 7-Week Session	September 29, 2025
Fall 2 Online Mini-Term & 2nd 7-Week Session	November 17, 2025

*Forms can be submitted up until the posted date at 11:59PM

Withdrawing

Students who drop all classes for which they are enrolled are considered to have withdrawn from the university for that term.

How to Withdraw:

Complete the Withdrawal Authorization Form and attach a copy of your photo ID
