The Collaborative Community Research Center (CCRC) engages community partners in the Coastal Bend region to study the impact of health, education, technology, social and cultural factors for the advancement of South Texas.
 
The Collaborative Community Research Center (CCRC) Repository plays a vital role to support translational research by its ethical collection, storage and distribution of high quality data to community partners.
 
The three main functions of the Collaborative Community Research Center (CCRC) Repository are:
 
Input: Enroll Participants
  • Identify participants, obtain informed consent and collect data. 
  • Preserve participant privacy.
Curates Research Data
  • Collects, processes and stores participant data for future use by researchers.
  • Provides information in a readily accessible method.
Output: Provides Research Data
  • Verify qualified researchers requesting use of repository data.
  • Makes collected information available to the research and coastal bend community at large to answer questions related to health, education, technology, social and cultural factors for the advancement of South Texas.
