Academic Affairs Welcomes New Faculty Affairs Coordinator
Academic Affairs welcomes Debbie Alvarado as the new Faculty Affairs Coordinator. Ms. Alvarado has spent the last twelve years at Del Mar College, most recently serving in the Human Resources department. She has decades of professional and administrative service in various fields and has worked closely with faculty, staff, administrators, and students in higher education.
The Faculty Affairs Coordinator maintains faculty credential and appointment records, provides support for faculty activity reporting and evaluations (such as Interfolio), offers technical assistance with promotion and tenure portfolios, and liaises with colleges and departments throughout the University to ensure faculty data is current and accurate.
Ms. Alvarado earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources from University of the Incarnate Word and her Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from Del Mar College.
