Jill Ratliff Announced as Interim Associate Provost
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi announces Ms. Jill Ratliff as Interim Associate Provost. Ms. Ratliff will join the Island University on Monday, January 10, 2022.
Ms. Ratliff has over 20 years of experience in higher education and most recently served as the Chief Planning Officer and Accreditation Liaison for Morehead State University. Prior to that, she served in various roles at the institution including Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs and provided leadership for a range of units that included the offices of: Strategic Planning, Institutional Accreditation, Institutional Research, Assessment, Academic Program Accreditation, Testing Center, Registrar, and Educational Services Unit.
Ms. Ratliff is ABD and pursuing a Ph.D. in educational sciences at the University of Kentucky and has two master’s degrees in educational leadership and elementary education in addition to an undergraduate degree in elementary education from Morehead State University.
According to Dr. Phillips, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, “Ms. Ratliff has extensive experience in higher education administration and is poised to step into the Associate Provost role on an interim basis as we conduct a national search. Because of her background in academic program and institutional accreditation, strategic planning, and liaising with governing boards, she will be an asset to TAMU-CC.”
