The Theatre and Dance Program at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi is a unique program offering courses specifically tailored for students pursuing careers in professional theatre and film, as well as those seeking Texas Teacher Certification in Theatre Arts. We are extremely devoted to preparing you for the challenges of creating theatre in the 21st Century.
Program Details
The goal of the program is to provide students the development of basic skills and techniques of acting, including sensory awareness, ensemble performing, character analysis, and script analysis. Also, student will learn learn the principles, techniques, and processes of dramatic structure found in written scripts as seen through the perception of the stage director, actor, and designer.
