Dance, Minor
The dance minor is available to all majors in all disciplines and professionals or educators seeking a certificate to develop their skill and knowledge in the area of dance.
This will enhance the marketability of those students who are working towards teacher certification and would like to teach dance as a second discipline and theatre majors who are looking to pursue careers as professionals in the arts or those graduates who are looking to enhance their careers working in arts education, community theatre or health therapies.
This certification will also prepare the student for the TExES/ExCET exam required to teach dance in the Texas public school system.
