The H-E-B Performance Hall is the heart of the Performing Arts Center’s mission to inspire, educate, and connect through the transformative power of live performance. It not only provides TAMU-CC students with a professional-grade performance environment but also serves as a cultural bridge to the Corpus Christi community, fostering greater access to the performing arts.

About the Space

The H-E-B Performance Hall is the premier performance venue within the Performing Arts Center. Designed to offer both superior acoustics and an elegant audience experience, it serves as the main stage for concerts, theatrical performances, special lectures, and community events.

Seating Capacity: Approximately 1,500 seats

• Design: Acoustically engineered to support both unamplified and amplified performances, making it ideal for a wide range of events from classical symphonies to contemporary concerts.

• Stage: A spacious proscenium stage, adaptable for various types of performances, including orchestras, choirs, theatrical productions, and large-scale lectures.

• Audience Amenities: Comfortable seating, excellent sightings from every seat, ADA-accessible accommodations, and high-quality lobby areas for audience gathering and receptions.

Primary Uses

• Professional Performances: Signature artists as part of the Furgason BRAVO! Series and other nationally touring acts.

• University Events: Faculty and student recitals, graduation ceremonies, and academic presentations.

• Community Rentals: Available for use by local symphonies, dance schools, theatre companies, and civic organizations.

• Special Events: Host site for screenings, panel discussions, cultural festivals, and fundraising galas.

• Acoustic Flexibility: Designed to maintain sound quality for both live acoustic music and amplified events.

• Naming: The Hall is named in recognition of a generous gift from H-E-B Grocery Company, a major supporter of the arts in Texas.
