Scholarships and Awards
PHI KAPPA PHI FELLOWSHIPS
Each year, Phi Kappa Phi awards fifty-four Fellowships of $8,500 each, six at $20,000 each, and two at $35,000 each are awarded to members entering the first year of graduate or professional study. Each Phi Kappa Phi chapter may select one candidate from among its local applicants to compete for the Society-wide awards.

DISSERTATION FELLOWSHIPS
The Dissertation Fellowship program is new to The Society and is intended to support doctoral candidates who are writing dissertations. Phi Kappa Phi awards ten Dissertation Fellowships of $10,000 each are awarded annually to active members who are doctoral candidates and are completing dissertations. The fellowship supports students in the dissertation writing stage of doctoral study and is for 12 months of dissertation writing.

GRADUATE RESEARCH GRANTS
Travel grants of up to $1,500 are available to graduate students. The grants provide funding for travel in support of career development opportunities, such as conducting or presenting research.

STUDY ABROAD GRANTS
Study Abroad Grants are designed to help support undergraduates as they seek knowledge and experience in their academic fields by studying abroad. Seventy-five $1,000 grants are awarded each year and support undergraduates as they seek knowledge and experience in their academic fields by studying abroad.

LOVE OF LEARNING AWARDS
Love of Learning Awards help fund post-baccalaureate studies and/or career development for active members. Two hundred awards, at $500 each, are distributed each year and help fund post-baccalaureate studies and career development including graduate or professional studies, doctoral dissertations, continuing education, travel related to teaching/studies, and more.

LITERACY GRANTS
Literacy Grants of up to $2,500 each are available to Phi Kappa Phi chapters and individual members to fund ongoing literacy projects or to create new initiatives.

PHI KAPPA PHI SCHOLAR & ARTIST
The Phi Kappa Phi Scholar and Artist Award honors honor individuals who demonstrate the ideals of the Society through their activities, achievements, and scholarship. Each awardee receives a $1,000 honorarium, lifetime membership, a recognition certificate, and the opportunity to attend the Society's biennial convention.

DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD
The Ray Sylvester Phi Kappa Phi Distinguished Service Award honors an individual who has provided sustained, non-compensated volunteer service to others beyond the realm of academia. The award recipient receives a $1,000 honorarium, an active-for-life membership, and a recognition citation.
