Islander Impact Council

Purpose or function:  The Islander Impact Council serves as a body to promote coordination, consistency, and positivity in the relations between the university and external entities and to provide recommendations to senior administration regarding external relations strategies, needs, and opportunities.

Membership: This council consists of the one (1) appointed representative from each of the following: Student Government Association, Mary and Jeff Bell Library, Marketing and Communications, Institutional Advancement, Enrollment Management, Student Engagement and Success, Centers & Institutes, Career and Professional Development Center, Intercollegiate Athletics, Research and Innovation, and Information Technology. Additionally, one (1) faculty member from each academic college/school will be appointed by the dean/director to serve on the council. Faculty and staff members will serve three-year staggered terms. Students will serve one-year terms.
