At Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi

The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Islander Battalion is conducting the Islander Challenge on Saturday, March 28, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at various campus-wide locations and University Beach. The mission of this event is to engage Junior ROTC programs across Texas in a competition that challenges each team’s physical and mental abilities through events throughout the day, such as a grenade course, an obstacle course, a 2-mile ruck, a mystery event, and more.

Junior ROTC cadets:
Test your skills, challenge yourself like never before, and get a taste of the Island University.

JROTC teams from throughout the state will take on a series of challenges described in the high school informational presentation below.
