Islander Challenge

At Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi
The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Islander Battalion is conducting the Islander Challenge on Saturday, March 28, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at various campus-wide locations and University Beach. The mission of this event is to engage Junior ROTC programs across Texas in a competition that challenges each team’s physical and mental abilities through events throughout the day, such as a grenade course, an obstacle course, a 2-mile ruck, a mystery event, and more.
Junior ROTC cadets:
Test your skills, challenge yourself like never before, and get a taste of the Island University.
JROTC teams from throughout the state will take on a series of challenges described in the high school informational presentation below.

The goals of the competition are:
- Expose JROTC Cadets to a university campus.
- Encourage friendly competition while increasing esprit de corps among JROTC programs.
- Raise awareness of the Islander Battalion Senior ROTC Program at TAMUCC.

- We offer discounted registration for an additional team from the same organization, but you must add this to your cart as a separate product. Register an additional team here.
- Each team consists of 5 student members. Registration includes 7 t-shirts and 7 box lunches per team.
