Student Conduct & Community Standards: List of Common Outcomes

PLEASE NOTE: The following is in no way a list of minimums or maximums in regard to sanctioning. This document was created to provide students with background information regarding which sanctions may be likely for students who have been found responsible of some of the most common code violations. For severe situations or students with prior disciplinary incidents sanctioning may look very different including suspension or expulsion. Additionally, for students who live on campus many violations could include being moved to a new housing assignment or being removed from housing depending on the severity, level of disruption to the community and/or frequency of incidents.

Every student and every case is different. It is the goal of Student Conduct & Community Standards to provide relevant, educational sanctions for students. This means that students with similar violations may have dissimilar sanctions due to their different needs.
