Biography

Ms. Polansky became a Certified Public Accountant in Texas in 1982. Her professional career has included positions with Central Power and Light Company as a statistician, with Peat Marwick Mitchell and Co. (now KPMG) as a tax accountant, with the City of Austin as an economist, and with Fite and Wheeler, P.C. as a senior tax accountant. Ms. Polansky has held various positions at Texas A&M University Corpus-Christi (formerly Corpus Christi State University) from 1982 – 2001 and again from 2003 to the present. These positions include assistant professor and associate professor of quantitative methods, assistant dean of College of Business, and adjunct professor of accounting. She currently is the manager of graduate programs for the College of Business.
