Biography

Dr. Sandra DeGrassi, SHRM-SCP, received her BBA in Finance from The University of Texas-Austin, and her PhD in Management from Texas A&M University in College Station. Her teaching and research interests focus on Human Resource Management topics including recruitment, selection, incivility, teams, and management education. She has relevant experience in performance management, training, talent development, HR strategy, real estate, and small-business operations. She has been published in top journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, the Journal of Business Ethics, the Journal of Management Education, and the Journal of Organizational Behavior. She currently serves on SHRM-Coastal Bend’s Board of Directors as the Vice President of Professional Development and as the Faculty Advisor for the SHRM student group at TAMU-CC.
