Dr. Harris holds BA and MBA degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. He earned a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from the University of Florida in 1995. He worked as a Lecturer at the University of Florida from 1995-1996 before being appointed to the faculty of California State University, Stanislaus (CSUS) in 1996. Dr. Harris served in various roles at CSUS, including Professor of Management, Director of the Executive MBA Program, Founding Director of the Online MBA Program, and Interim Director of the MBA Program. Dr. Harris joined the faculty of Texas A&M – Corpus Christi in 2014. He was promoted to the rank of Professor in 2017 and was named Chair of the Department of Management & Marketing in 2018. An active Case Researcher, Dr. Harris is a Past President of the North American Case Research Association.
