Joined the faculty in 2012

  • Research Interests: Performance measurement, management and improvement, Data Analytics, Decision Support Systems, and Expert Systems.
  • Teaching Interests: Operations Management and MIS courses such as Business Intelligence & Analytics.

Biography 

Dr. Mohan Rao is a Professor of Decision Sciences at TAMUCC. He is currently serving as a Vice President of Decision Sciences Institute (DSI). He has over 30 years of experience in academia. He has over 70 refereed journal publications and proceedings. He teaches Operations Management and Data Analytics. He is a faculty senator at TAMUCC. He served SWDSI since 1995 in various capacities, including Track Chair, Proceedings Editor, Vice President –Finance, President and Past President.
