About Evan Wedig

Evan Wedig serves as a Project Manager IV with the Center for Advanced Aviation Technologies at the Autonomy Research Institute, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. He supports collaborative research initiatives that advance emerging aviation technologies toward safe, practical implementation.

 

With more than 10 years of research experience, Evan has held project management and R&D leadership roles across clinical research, industrial manufacturing, capital construction, and process technology development. He has led cross-functional teams and complex projects in pilot plant and industrial research environments. He is particularly interested in applying artificial intelligence and machine learning where appropriate to strengthen research, improve decision making, and enhance project delivery. His experience also includes facility commissioning, process improvement, stakeholder coordination, and regulatory compliance.

 

Evan holds a Master of Science in Medical Science and a Postgraduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: Business Applications from The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business.
