The Louis and John Chapman Lobby plays a vital role in the Performing Arts Center’s mission to create accessible, enriching arts experiences. About the Space

The Louis and John Chapman Lobby serves as the main entrance and central gathering space for patrons attending performances at the Performing Arts Center. Designed with elegance and functionality in mind, it sets the tone for the audience’s entire PAC experience.

  • Location: Main entrance level of the Performing Arts Center, directly leading into the H-E-B Performance Hall.

  • Design Features: Spacious, filled with natural light from large glass windows, offering sweeping views of the TAMU-CC campus and Corpus Christi Bay.

  • Capacity: Accommodates up to 400 guests for receptions, pre-show gatherings, and special events.

  • Special Events and Receptions: Frequently used for donor receptions, VIP meet-and-greets, university ceremonies, and community events.
