CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will celebrate the 20-year reunion of its first four-year class, the freshmen of 1994, during a fun-filled weekend of activities planned from Friday, Oct. 17, through Sunday, Oct. 19, on the University campus.
Texas A&M-Corpus Christi’s Freshmen of 1994 Reunion Weekend invites alumni to return to campus to reminisce on their time at the Island University and see how it has grown.
“We’re really excited to host these special events as a way to welcome back our very first freshmen class,” said Lori Garza, Director of Engagement. “This will provide our visiting alumni with an opportunity to witness an amazing transformation of the campus and network with new and old friends alike.”
Events planned include an Islanders soccer game against Abilene Christian University; an alumni cocktail reception; the Shakespeare play, “The Winter’s Tale;” a campus tour and picnic; a pool party; a 20th anniversary reunion party; and a Blue & Green Brunch.
Alumni will be encouraged to reunite with former roommates and bring the whole family for a weekend full of excitement. Check back later in September for details at http://www.islanderalumni.org/; or call 361.825.5787.
