Seth Foster is a UAS Pilot for the Lone Star Unmanned Aerial Systems Center (LSUASC) of Excellence and Innovation, Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Seth began his journey with Lone Star UAS Center as a Flight Operations Intern that helped implement new procedures with LSUASC’s Aircraft Inventory Management, Geographical Information Systems implementation, and Historical Flight Log tracking.

Prior to joining the staff at TAMUCC, Seth had a unique opportunity to travel the world as a professional musician for over 6 years. During this time, Seth was able to travel to over 45 States throughout the United States as well as Western Europe, Mexico & Canada. Seth began flying UAS in 2017 and is passionate about the future implementation of Unmanned Aircraft Systems advancement into Land Surveying, Drone Mapping, Photogrammetry, and Remote Sensing applications.

Seth holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Leadership with double minors in Geography & Business Administration from Texas A&M – College Station. Seth is currently finishing his Post-Baccalaureate in Geomatics and will then pursue his Masters in Geospatial Systems Engineering with an emphasis in Geosensing Systems and UAS for Geomatics. Seth will be using these degrees to help further the advancement of UAS, Land Surveying, & Geomatics in the National Airspace.
