The TAMU-CC Music Department provide high-quality training to a select number of music majors, as well as ensembles and courses for large numbers of non-music majors.
The curriculum offers an excellent education with a low professor/student ratio, and learning is enhanced by the use of music technology across the curriculum.
Together with degree programs in Music, Music Performance, and Music Education, students may design a degree plan combining a music minor with virtually all other majors offered by the University.
The Music Department welcomes students with a broad aesthetic and intellectual curiosity, and encourages students who are interested in pursuing double majors.
