Islander Peer Educators
The Purpose of Islander Peer Educators:
To educate the Islander community on a wide range of health-related topics, with specific focus on preventing the abuse of alcohol and other drugs. By educating and promoting healthy and inclusive behavior, we hope to inspire students to make positive choices in order to attain academic and social success.
About Prevention Education
Prevention methods includes increased levels of education and awareness. Here at Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi it is our mission to be “committed to preparing graduates for lifelong learning and responsible citizenship in the global community”- this includes having an important focus on the health and wellbeing of students.
