Tianxing Chu is an assistant professor at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC). He received his PhD in photogrammetry and remote sensing from Peking University, China. Prior to his faculty role, he worked at TAMU-CC as post-doctoral research associate and assistant research scientist from January, 2014, to August, 2018. His current research interests include emergent remote sensing and geomatics techniques, ubiquitous navigation and positioning, indoor simultaneous localization and mapping, machine learning applied to geospatial applications.
