James Silliman

Jim secured his chemist position at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi after obtaining a B.S. in geology, a M.S. in chemistry and a Ph.D. in marine geology and geochemistry. After completing his Ph.D., he worked in the areas of environmental geochemistry studying fresh water lakes in Florida and petroleum geochemistry researching the composition of crude oils. Jim thoroughly enjoys teaching and researching at TAMU-CC where he has the opportunity to collaborate with other faculty and work with both undergraduate and graduate students.
