Tuition & Fees

Cost of Attendance is made up of two components: direct costs, and indirect costs.

Direct Costs: 

Tuition and Fees

Based upon a full-time course load of 12 credit hours per semester (24 credit hours total) for undergraduate students and 9 credit hours per semester (18 credit hours total) for graduate students. Actual tuition and fees will vary depending on your residency status (Texas resident or non-Texas resident), the college, the amount and type of courses taken, etc. A detailed breakdown of tuition and fees is accessible via the Business Office.

Food and Housing

Charges are an estimate and will vary depending on your housing and meal plan selections.

The figures below illustrate the estimated cost of attendance for typical full-time students attending Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. These figures are subject to change, and can vary by student, based on living accommodations, meal plans and area of study. An estimated cost of attendance per semester can be calculated by dividing the amounts reflected below in half.

These tables were prepared based on the best information available at the time of printing. All information is subject to change without notice or obligation.

Foreign/International Students will be charged an additional $75.00 processing fee per semester plus International Health Insurance. Does not include course specific fee (i.e. Lab Fees, Distance Education Fees, Field Trip Fees, etc…) Web-Based courses will have a Distance Education Fee ranging from $50 to $100 per course depending on the percentage of the course that is online. Eline courses will have a ELine Fee of $100 per course.

Include items you will purchase throughout the academic year that are related to your educational costs. Your actual miscellaneous expenses will vary from the given average depending on your spending habits.

Childcare**

Expenses you will incur securing childcare services for your dependent(s).

*These amounts will vary from person to person, so you will see an estimate included in your SAIL account, but you are not required to utilize these numbers. 

** Childcare is not automatically included in your Cost of Attendance but you can submit a Change Request form to make this change.
