Returning to Campus During COVID-19 Student Training – Spring ‘21

Published: Jan 6, 2021 11:45 AM

The Texas A&M University System requires every student to complete a brief COVID-19 training course before being allowed to return to campus for the spring semester. This course is required in addition to any training already completed for the fall semester. Access to Blackboard courses will be blocked beginning January 25, 2021 until the training is completed and certified. If access is disabled, once training has been completed, it may take up to one business day for courses to be available again.

The student training program provides a greater understanding of:
  • the types of infectious diseases that can be spread in the workplace;
  • how to properly clean and disinfect surfaces;
  • the steps for proper handwashing; and
  • respiratory etiquette that helps to mitigate the spread of infectious diseases.
To comply with CDC guidance, TAMU-CC requires face coverings for everyone on campus.

NOTE: Be sure to go through the entire course and complete the additional certification step to comply with the System requirement. Both are required to maintain access to your courses through Blackboard.
