Fun Facts

  • Home of the Largest Park in Latin America. The Chapultepec Forest is twice the size of New York’s Central Park. It’s also home to the only royal castle in the Americas.
  • The Most Populated City in the Americas. Mexico City was once the second-most populous city in the world, after Tokyo, with more than 20 million inhabitants. As of 2020, Mexico City is currently the fourth largest city, with a population of 22 million (Tokyo, Delhi, and Shanghai make the top 3).
  • World’s Largest University. Mexico’s National Autonomous University (UNAM) is the largest university in the world. Home to a whopping 300,000+ students
  • Aztec Ruins lie beneath the City. The city was built on the ancient city Tenochtitlán.

  • Includes: Workshops, site visits, lectures by local artists, hands-on projects
  • Project: Final design project connected to cultural experiences
