Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Summer Camps


Register Now for VANTAGE Program: Young women and men, ages 14-18 who are also enrolled in high school, are invited to participate in the VANTAGE Program, a free virtual vocational empowerment camp, delivered via Zoom. Participants will explore career interests and options, develop leadership skills, set personal goals and receive mentoring from community leaders.

VANTAGE for Teenage Girls

  • July 20–24, from 9 a.m. to noon, via Zoom
  • July 27-31, from 9 a.m. to noon, via Zoom

VANTAGE for Teenage Boys

  • July 27-31, from 1 to 4 p.m., via Zoom

VANTAGE is presented by the Antonio E. Garcia Arts & Education Center, a part of the College of Education and Human Development at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and is sponsored by the Department of Counseling & Educational Psychology. Register Now for Virtual Engineering Summer Camp: The College of Science and Engineering will host Virtual Engineering Summer Camp sessions for middle and high school students. Students will conduct engaging hands-on activities related to each field, meet professionals in their fields and can ask them questions, and conduct calculations like the ones that professionals do for their jobs. To participate in the program, students will need access to a computer, laptop, or tablet which is enabled with speakers, camera, and a microphone and which is connected to the internet. Students will receive a kit by mail with all the materials necessary to conduct the activities from home. Programs are one-week in duration, Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to noon and 2-5 p.m. 

  • Middle school session #1 will take place July 13-16. Deadline to register is Friday, June 26.
  • Middle school session #2 will take place July 20-23. Deadline to registers is Friday, July 3.
  • High school session will take place July 27-30. Deadline to register is Friday, July 10
