The Women's Center for Education & Service has been helping the women of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Achieve since 1995. The Center has impacted thousands as it works to improve the well being of the women faculty, staff, and students where they live, work and learn. The Women's Center continues the tradition of support, education and advocacy by creating and sponsoring programs throughout the University as well as neighboring communities.

Announcements & Upcoming Events

Calling all TAMU-CC female artists! - Do you paint, draw, take pictures, make jewelry, sing, dance, act, etc.? The Women's Center for Education and Service wants you to display your talents! Our 5th annual Celebration of Women in the Arts event will take place on Thursday, November 6th from 5:30-8:00pm in the University Center Lonestar Ballroom. We're looking for TAMU-CC female artists who are interested in displaying and possibly selling their artwork, which can include all types of media. We're also looking for performers for our floor show, which can include anything from singing, dancing, poetry reading, etc. We will also have several interactive art stations set up throughout the ballroom that attendees can visit and learn new skills - last year's stations included cake decorating, henna, bellydancing, yoga, and knitting.

If you are interested in participating in our event this year, download and fill out a registration form and return it to our office in the University Center 303 or email it to us at womens.center@tamucc.edu.
