Application & Admission Program Courses Research Written Comps Info Thesis Info Licensure Info Graduate Program - Thesis Information The Research Emphasis/Thesis Track is typically selected by individuals seeking entrance into a Doctoral Program. We encourage students to begin their thesis as early as possible if they wish to complete the program in a timely fashion. The student must identify a research topic and select a thesis committee--consisting of a Chair and two committee members. The student should work closely with their Chair to design a degree plan and to design the proposed project. The student must hold a proposal meeting with their committee before data collection begins; and a defense meeting when their final thesis document is completed. The thesis defense meeting serves as the Exit Examination for this track. Students are required to submit 3 bound copies of their thesis once it is successfully completed.
