Young Authors Writing Camp
Location: Texas A&M University Corpus Christi
Students will learn to become independent, self confident and fluent authors through a variety
of direct experiences. Students will use the University site as a way to generate ideas for their
short stories, poems, letters and much more that they will create.

Band Camp
Ages: 7th - 12th grade (Concert & Jazz band emphasis)
Location: Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi
This is an opportunity for Jazz and Concert Band students to improve their skills and learn

Vocal Workshop
Ages: High School Students
Location: A&M Corpus Christi Campus
Prepare for UIL Solo Competition. Study breath, phonation, resonation registration articulation
diction, stage presence and performance etiquette, and much more. Sessions are limited to 15 students.

N.Y.S.P. (National Youth Sports Program)
Ages: 10-16
Location: Texas A&M University Corpus Christi
Cost: Free to qualified applicants
Sponsored by the National Youth Sports Program, NYSP encourages children to be active
in their lifestyles and promotes education through weekly sessions. Some target schools
are West Oso, Evans Elementary, Menger Elementary, and Sanders. To see if you can be a

Theatre Camp-Camp on the Coast
The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Summer Theatre Workshop is a two-week residential camp
designed for high school students seeking a highly intensive and creative theatre experience.
Participants will rehearse and perform in a one-act play directed by one of three highly successful
theatre educators. Students will also study acting, voice, and movement in morning classes taught
