Graduate Application for Admission.

Information and Requirements for Graduate Admission

The following documents are required for admission into any graduate program at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and must be sent directly to the Office of Graduate Studies and Research :


1.      The completed Application form must be accompanied by a $50.00 , non-refundable fee for U.S. citizens and permanent residents made payable to Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. For international applicants, the non-refundable fee is $70.00 , which must be paid in U.S. currency.

2.      Official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate coursework must be mailed directly to the Office of Graduate Studies and Research from the granting institutions.

3.      Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Records Exam (GRE) scores must be sent directly from the Educational Testing Service to the Office of Graduate Studies/Research.

 

Please check with your graduate program or the graduate catalog for more information concerning specific admission requirements pertaining to the program of your choice.

Additional Requirements for International Applicants

In addition to the documents listed above, international applicants must also include the following documents to the Office of Graduate Studies and Research:

 

4.      Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score. A minimum paper-based score of 550, equivalent computer-based score of 213, or Internet-based score of 79 is required for admission.

5.      Notarized Affidavit of Support (or I-34 form) certifying ability to finance study in the U.S.

6.      International applicants in the United States are required to provide a copy of their current visa.

7.      An evaluation of coursework from an approved evaluating agency.

  • Applicants seeking graduate assistantships: Fall deadline of March 1; Spring deadline of October 1; and a Summer deadline of February 1.
