2. Math Trails
Henry Pollak first brought the idea of math trails to our attention at the Woodrow Wilson Summer Institute in Princeton, New Jersey. The idea of a math trail to popularize mathematics comes from Australia. The trails that had been developed in Australia are described in "Mathematics Trails" by Dudley Blane of the Mathematics Education Centre, Monash University, Australia.
This project, taken from the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation, allows the student to make connections to Pascal's Triangle.
