The camp is designed to provide
elementary and middle school students with opportunities to expand
their interest in writing and to experience writing as a fun and creative
opportunity for self-expression and communication with others.
This 16th annual Young Authors' camp will include visits with poets
and artists, naturalist walks, online publishing, and uses of technology
in writing. Each author will receive camp materials and a t-shirt.
The Camp Staff consists of a team of university professors, elementary
and middle school teachers, and university students.
