Welcome to my class! I teach both English Composition and FY Seminar. I look forward to working with each and every one of you as we explore the various elements of composition, rhetoric, and research (and college success)! I was born here, in Corpus Christi, TX, and graduated from Flour Bluff High School in 2006. My academic interests include gender/queer and feminist critical analysis as well as the occasional attempt at play-writing and directing. I recently graduated from TAMUCC in May 2014 with my M.A. in English studies with an emphasis in composition/rhetoric and Borderlands studies. I hope to begin pursuing my doctorate at some point in the not-too-distant future.

Please know that I want to help you be successful in this course - never be afraid to send me an e-mail or come by during office hours to discuss anything about the course or the assignments. While our class will require dedication and hard work, my hope is that you will come out of the experience feeling more confident and able as a writer.
