Getting Started

What is Cascade?

Cascade is a Content Management System that allows you to create, edit, and publish content to Falcon, the University's web server. By doing so, you're creating a web site that users around the world can visit to learn more about what you do and the services you offer. Cascade is a powerful tool for connecting to your target audience on the web.

Requesting Access

First you'll need to fill out our Web Request Form. If you are a student worker, you must make this request through your direct supervisor, who must be fulltime University faculty or staff. The Web Specialist can help you determine your web needs, whether it is creating a brand new site from scratch or granting you access to an existing site (with the approval of the site owner).

Learning the Basics

Once you've gained access to Cascade and have discussed your web needs with the Web Specialist, it's time to learn the basics. First, let's make sure you can log into Cascade.
