GENERAL |
| |
1.1 |
The Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended,
requires that students make satisfactory academic progress in order
to receive financial assistance. Satisfactory academic progress
is consistently applied to all college course work, regardless of
whether or not the student received financial assistance at any
particular time. |
| |
1.2 |
Three elements are used in determining
satisfactory academic progress. These elements are: grade point
average, enrollment requirements, and maximum time frame.
|
| 2. |
GRADE POINT AVERAGE |
| |
The student must maintain the grade point
average required for continued enrollment. Refer to the Scholastic
Probation, Suspension, Dismissal section of the Texas A&M University-Corpus
Christi catalog.
|
| 3. |
