STATEMENT OF PROHIBITION OF FIREARMS
All firearms are prohibited on the premises of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, in any university vehicle, or on any grounds on which an activity sponsored by Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is being conducted. The University will follow Texas Penal Code Section 46.03 in the administration of this rule. |

LICENSED POLICE OFFICERS
The prohibition of firearms does not apply to licensed peace officers, who are authorized by law to carry firearms at all times. |

SIGNAGE
Signage will be posted at the entrances to campus and at the entrances to buildings, as appropriate, notifying of the prohibition of firearms and the relevant regulations. |
