Provost's Council

The Provost's Council consists of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs; the College Deans; Faculty Senate Speaker; Dean of Graduate Studies and Associate Vice President for Research and Scholarly Activity; Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs; Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management; representatives from the Mary and Jeff Bell Library, the University Core Curriculum Program, and Community Outreach; and others who may be appointed by the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs

With guidance from the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, this body initiates recommendations and advises on appropriate university issues. The Council advises on academic and fiscal matters and space needs, as well as issues involving academic support services, enrollment services, research, public service, community outreach, and the interface of athletics with the academic program. The Provost's Council proposes and reviews certain university rules, participates in strategic planning, and performs other functions as designated by the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.

The Provost's Council will be chaired by the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.
