Students who transfer to A&M-Corpus Christi after having completed the 42 SCH core curriculum at another institution will be considered to have completed A&M-Corpus Christi’s core curriculum. See the Catalog for more detailed information.

Students who transfer to A&M-Corpus Christi with an incomplete core curriculum from the sending institution will have their core credits analyzed on an individual basis. Courses taken to fulfill the Del Mar College core curriculum may be substituted for A&M-Corpus Christi core courses in the same competency area.

In some cases, transfer courses may substitute for upper-division courses to fulfill degree requirements. However, such courses do not count toward the total number of upper-division credit hours required for a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

Additional University Requirement
