Core Curriculum Committee (FC2)

Purpose or Function: The Core Curriculum Committee provides an oversight of the Core Curriculum Program. This Committee focuses on issues involving the core curriculum, such as course requirements, advising, transfer equivalency, freshman seminars, and assessment.

Membership: The Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, the co-directors of the Core Curriculum Program, a representative from the College Deans’ Council, faculty representatives from each college recommended by the Faculty Senate in consultation with the Colleges, the First-year Seminar Program Coordinator, the First-Year Writing Program Coordinator, a representative from the Bell Library and the Director of Academic Advising.
