Distributed Learning Council
Purpose or Function: This body ensures that the University adheres to its institutional distance education plan, to the best principles and practices of distance education as circulated by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, and to SACS accreditation criteria. Reviews new distance learning opportunities.
Membership: A representative from each college recommended by the dean, a representative from the library, a representative from computer services,a representative from Student Affairs, a representative from the Faculty Renaissance Center Advisory Committee,and other members from strategic offices.
