Position Reclassification Review Council

Purpose or Function: The Council is charged with reviewing positions proposed for reclassification. The Council provides advice to the Human Resources Office prior to Human Resources making their reclassification recommendation to the President’s Cabinet. Any employee who is dissatisfied with a reclassification decision may appeal that decision to the Position Reclassification Review Council.

Membership: The Director of Human Resources, EO/ER Director, four staff members selected by the Staff Advisory Council, one faculty member preferably from the human resource emphasis in management or a related discipline (nominated by the Provost), and one professional librarian.
