Community Outreach Council

Purpose or function: This Council serves as a body to bring the University and the community together to facilitate communications. It functions as a think tank to brainstorm needs which require combined efforts by the University and the community and to identify resources and specific projects to address those needs. This Council maintains a data bank of resource and stores data regarding those resources.

Membership: Community representatives nominated by Outreach staff, all directors on staff of Outreach, and one representative from each of the following: Bell Library, Title V/TRIO program, each college upon recommendation of the dean, the Office of Research/Scholarly Activity, Staff Advisory Council, and Enrollment Management.
