Undergraduate Admissions Committee

Purpose or Function: The Committee reviews the applications of undergraduate applicants who do not meet the University’s regular admission criteria but who qualify for consideration under the Alternative Admission Procedure.  Based on the review, the committee makes recommendations as to whether applicants should be admitted.  In addition, the committee reviews undergraduate admissions policies and makes policy recommendations.

Membership:  Includes one faculty representative from each college (recommended by the Faculty Senate, in consultation with the colleges), one academic dean representing the deans, the Associate VP for Enrollment Management, the Director of Admissions, an academic support services person, an administrator representing Student Affairs, the Title V/TRIO, one graduate student, and one undergraduate student. The Office of Student Affairs chooses the student representatives.
