Trey Hernandez

Sophomore first baseman Trey Hernandez is the first player in Islander history to be named to the Louisville Slugger Freshmen All-America baseball team selected by the Collegiate Baseball Magazine. The kinesiology major from Robstown was also named to the All-Ping! Baseball Freshman Second Team. He’s been the Southland Conference Co-Hitter of the Week and Ping Spotlight Player of the Week for hitting .714 over five games with three home runs, 12 RBIs, and seven runs scored.
