It's Showtime!
Dr. Lari Dianne Young has witnessed the dreams of many come to fruition inside the Performing Arts Center (PAC) since its opening in 2005. As PAC director, Young has worked with the legendary Van Cliburn, Michael Martin Murphey and Freddy Fender, who have all graced the stage. When Young first arrived on campus in spring 2004, the Minnesota native says she felt reunited with old friends. And she welcomed the challenges of opening a new building and hiring its staff. The president-elect of the Rotary Club of Southside Corpus Christi was recently appointed by the Corpus Christi City Council to serve a three-year term as the education and youth representative on the city's Arts and Cultural Commission. The DFW Cocker Spaniel Rescue is a project close to Young's heart - check out her precious Robbie!
