Nursing Honors Students Inducted Into Sigma Theta Tau Chapter

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Fifty-six students at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi were inducted as new members into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing on May 16 in the University Center, Lone Star Ballroom. Each student was called on stage to receive a pin from the Eta Omicron chapter officers, and a lavender cord.

Students inducted into the organization are: Logan Adams, Adjoa Asare, Matthew R. Bauer, Heather Beavers, Amy Ellen Carlton, Mica Choate, Delores Cortinas, Tiffany Dixon, Shaylyn Drozd, Siyao Du, Alexandra Dunlap, Kelechi Kay Eke, Bianca E. Falcon, Vania Feijoo Escobar, Devon S. Frala, Alyssa Gallegos, Mary Ann Gonzales, Crystal Marie Guardiola, Kacey Elizabeth Harmon, Donna Gail Kapavik, Jenna J. Kim-Nam, Aubrun Lackey, Dahlia Lomas, Kailash Ludhiana, Slyvia Ana Madland, Teresa Coranzon S. Medrano, Charlene Morgado, Katherine Katie Nelson, Jane Okoronkwo, Nathan English Parks, Matthew Perales, Randy Joe Ramirez, Justin Ricklis, Michelle Rauschuber, Molly Richey, Mary-Jo Ruffler, Morgan Sanders, Kyle Michael Sauriol, Irene Singles, Kevin Suh, Stephen Tapp, Trisha Van Noy, Megan Walker, Tamara Wostal, Jennifer Fitts, Roy Allen Franklin, Cordelia A. The honor society consists of nurse leader candidates, graduate students, registered nurse students, and undergraduates. All new members must maintain a grade point average of at least 3.0, be ranked in the top 35 percent of their class, and meet other academic qualifications.
