Coastal Bend Business Innovation Center Client Selected As Defense Industry Technology Showcase Semifinalist

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Creative Mind Solutions, LLC, has been selected as a semifinalist to participate in the Special Project Finance and Defense Innovation Showcase that will be held on Monday, Aug. 13, in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Creative Solutions, LLC, is a member of the Coastal Bend Business Innovation Center at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. The selected project is the Sea Electric Energy Production System II (SEEP II), a patent pending design to produce electronic energy from sea energy. The land-based SEEP II device is designed to avoid common problems associated with sea energy such as underwater transmission lines and construction and maintenance problems associated with off-shore hydroelectric power plants.

Texas A&M-Corpus Christi established the Coastal Bend Business Innovation Center in 2009 as part of the College of Business to encourage entrepreneurial economic of companies that, once established, are committed to remaining in the Coastal Bend. A key component of the Center is the innovative incubator program that targets resources and other services to accelerate their growth and ensure long-term success.
